These people make me proud!

We have been loving the gymnastics and swimming, staying up all hours of the night to see who takes the gold. We can't get enough! But today, I saw this, and if you get it, explain it to me, because I just do not get it! An olympic sport?

We're not talking jumping fences and stuff, they're just kind of prancing... hmmm, with a little practice, maybe Daisy and I will make it to the London olympics, ha!

LOST

Tomorrow night is the "all night LOST event." Meaning I will spend three hours of my life watching this show and I will probably STILL be confused when its all over. I always complain when the episode is over that it was completely unsatisfying and that I still have a million questions... but what do I do? I continue to watch it week after week! There's just something about it that keeps me coming back for more! What crazy thing will Locke do this week? Who will Kate end up with? What will happen to Sun's baby? How did Kate end up with Aaron? Can we really trust Juliette? What IS that black smoke? What happened to Walt?

Oh its just driving me crazy just thinking about it!!!! And tomorrow night, after watching what will be yet again another unsatisfying episode (lasting three hours), I will wait all summer long for that season premiere in the fall to get myself hooked again for another entire season of being utterly confused...

Randomness

*This weekend I bought real jeans. Real, actual jeans that have a button and a zipper. And the best part is they actually fit and they were only 12 dollars at Target! I was really feeling the need to have some new jeans- it was a little depressing to be putting on my same maternity jeans that I was already sick of at 9 and a half months pregnant. And as much as I wanted to squeeze into the several pairs of jeans I have, it just wasn't happening... yet.

*Tomorrow, Charlie will be six weeks old! And I have a dr.'s appointment. This whole time, I've been thinking, I can't wait until my six-week check up- then I'll be able to get back to really exercising! Now I'm thinking- man, its already been six weeks??? You mean now I have to start really exercising???

*Tonight is the "battle of the Davids" on American Idol and I CAN'T WAIT!!!! I haven't voted at all this season but I am so voting for David Cook tonight- he is my favorite! I'm sorry to all you Archuletta fans, but he is just too young!

Little People, Big World

Have you guys watched this show? I know its been on a while, but I just recently discovered it when there was a marathon of it on TLC earlier this week. It's about a couple who are both dwarves (this is how they refer to themselves) and have three average height children and one child that is also a dwarf. I watched the first episode and really liked it, so then I Tivo-ed the rest and have been watching them during my late night/early morning feedings with Charlie. I've really gotten into it! Which is great, because it helps keep me awake. At first I tried just feeding him in the glider in our room while trying to read. After two weeks of my eyes crossing and barely comprehending what I was reading and even falling asleep for about an hour once, I decided I needed to do something different. So now, its Little People, Big World.

American Idol Run Down

Anybody else into American Idol as much as I am this season?? Just thought I'd do my own little review of the singers this year...

Amanda Overmeyer

The rocker...okay I like that she's different and definitely not cheesy, but she's starting to sound the same from week to week! Not my favorite.

Brooke White

Definitely IS my favorite!!! Now she didn't do so well tonight admittedly, but she did something a little different and knew it didn't work. Usually I absolutely love her performances and think they are so fresh and different, not "karaoke-like" as Simon might say.

Carly Smithson

In my opinion, she has the best voice of everyone in the group. But for some reason I'm just not head over heels for her- maybe its her performances? Maybe she just doesn't pick the right songs, like Simon has said? I don't know what it is.

Chikezie

Didn't he start out with a last name? What happened to it? Anyway, I think he's just "okay." He's got a good voice, but can be really cheesy in his performances. I don't think he'll win it.

David Archuleta

He has a nice voice, but he seems sooooo young! And last week it really showed through his performance. The judges seemed to just love him and gush over him at first, but I think after last week, he may be gone sooner rather than later.

David Cook

LOVE him!!! He is so original to me and has a really great voice. Really talented... could win it all I think.

Jason Castro

He totally wins me over every time with those blue eyes and that smile! But could someone please give him some voice lessons??? He always sounds like he's running out of breath at the end of his phrases.

Kristy Lee Cook

I think her "eight days a week" said it all last week... Even though tonight was better, I have a feeling she'll be the one voted off tomorrow night.

Michael Johns

He is really great... very talented, great voice, though sometimes inconsistent and doesn't sound so good as he could... we'll see what happens with him.

Ramiele Malubay

I think she is so cute and has a great voice, but she doesn't always show it with the songs she chooses!

Syesha Mercado

Did y'all see her tonight with "Yesterday"???? It was fantastic!!!! I haven't been a big fan of hers until tonight and she blew me away!

So what do you think? Who will be the big winner? Is it too soon to tell? I never vote until it gets down to like the last three or four. But my favorites are definitely David Cook and Brooke White right now.
