Since our house has been on the market for the past two months, my home decorating projects have taken a backseat. Now my extra energy is spent on keeping the house in perfect condition, ready to show in a moment's notice. But, I've been eyeing this picture I found online for a while now and thought it would be a fun and easy touch for Charlie's room...

I bought some $5 reuseable stencils at Lowe's yesterday and cut up an extra kitchen sponge I had. The paint was leftover from the tree on the wall. I debated on going with a navy paint, but I was worried I wouldn't like it and it would be harder to paint over...

Turns out, I love it!

Charlie loves it too!

Its baby-ish, but still masculine, and
will be a fun way to teach him numbers. And to teach him to put away his own laundry- ooh I like the sound of that! "Charlie, go put put your pajamas in drawer #3"
