Here are some pictures from Wednesday when Charlie had his ear tubes put in. When we arrived at the hospital we found a huge waiting room with big windows and LOTS of toys. Charlie went to town! I have never seen him so at ease in an unfamiliar place. Which was great because he was very distracted and never even though about wanting to eat!
By the way, I highly recommend Texas Children's Hospital in Houston. It was overall a really great experience, and his doctor, Dr. Larrier, was amazing. Its so nice to know we have such a great children's hospital so close.
We waited for a LONG time.
And then, after all the waiting and signing papers, they took him back for a brief 25 minutes and we were called back just as he was waking up.
Waking up was a little rough, but as soon as we got in the car, he fell asleep for the hour ride home and stayed asleep another 2 1/2 hours!
Once he woke up again, he was running a little fever, but seemed to be feeling great!
Today he is back to his sweet old self again!

those are the sweetest pictures!....that's one little trooper!!.....he looked so precious in his crocs and jammies!........so grateful that's all behind you 3 now, and thankful to God that it all went so well....yay charlie!
