Fall is Here!

I'm sitting here with the windows open, listening to the rain falling outside. Its about 70 degree outside in the middle of the day, which if you live in southeast TX, you know that's about as close to fall as we are ever going to get! Over the weekend, we had some friends over to roast marshmallows out on the deck. It was the perfect evening for a fire, s'mores, and great conversation. I wish I would have taken more pictures as it got darker and the fire really got going, but I was too busy talking and stuffing my mouth with marshmallow-chocolately goodness to remember!

Here are a few of the fall things I've put out to cozy up the place... I love it, it reminds me that Christmas is just around the corner!

Oh and the above pic is my new coffee table! Well, its the same one we had, but my dear husband refinished it and put new legs and hardware on it!
