Furminated!

The deed is done. She has been furminated. What? You don't read my blog religiously and you don't know what I'm talking about? ;) Click here.

It came in the mail yesterday and as soon as the package was open we were on the back porch... me hard at work, her cowering with her tail between her legs.

I don't think she liked it very much. And I'm not sure what I think about it either. After about 10-15 minutes this was all I got.
That's a far cry from the picture on the website, which actually is kind of disturbing. Okay, really disturbing.

So we'll see. My plan is to vaccuum really really well today and see if there is any less hair on the floor the next day.

Oh yeah, and Charlie had raspberries and blackberries yesterday for the first time. Yum!

are you sure you did it right? :-)

seriously, when i furminated our dog for the first time, it TOTALLY looked like the picture! BUT...our dog has long hair and an insane amount of it. does daisy have short hair? it doesn't look like she has that much....maybe that's the difference.... hmmm.

I can't believe yours didn't pull out more hair! I brush Layla twice a week and it pulls out about half as much as it does in the picture. Hmmmm....I wonder what the big difference is?

Mine is a lab/hound mix. Her hair is short, but not exactly like a lab. So I think she does have more hair than a lab would. I've found that brushing her back is helpful, but the place where I get the most hair is from her thighs and butt.

Hope this helps! And by the way, this is probably the oddest comment I've ever left when taken out of context! Good luck :)
