Waiting and waiting

Well the waiting has begun. I am five days away from my due date and according to my doctor yesterday, I have not really progressed much. I have another appointment scheduled for Monday (my due date is Sunday) and he will do an ultrasound and another exam to determine where we go from there and possibly talk about inducing. Hopefully Charlie will make his appearance before then and we won't have to worry about that! But we'll see...
I'm really trying to meditate on 1st Thessalonians 5:16-18 this week:

"Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

Just trying to enjoy everything and not complain too much...

Oh and funny story- my ankles literally swelled to the size of my calves at work today! One of the girls I work with was like "You have Shrek ankles!" Ha, they went down after I drank some water and elevated my feet for a while. Will NOT be posting pictures of that though. ;) Just another part of this glorious miracle taking place!!!

Also, thought I'd share a few pics of some things I had embroidered today... so cute! The onesie looks so small to me- I hope it fits!!!

Nothin, huh? I feel your pain, sista! You are totally allowed to complain to me. Let me know if I can do anything to take your mind off the waiting. Are you taking next week off? Let's get together if that baby hasn't come yet.

Your monogrammed stuff looks great! I'm praying that Charlie makes his debut soon and that these last few days fly by for you.

Your monogrammed stuff looks so cute. Man, I remember having those swollen ankles. I called them cankles when I was pregnant. The good thing is that they go down after you have the baby. Good Luck with these last few days. Enjoy them to their fullest and try to get some sleep before Charlie gets here.

Praying that it goes by fast. Enjoy it though. It will NEVER be the same after Charlie arrives! :)

I'm hoping for labor to begin Saturday afternoon. It would be great if Charlie would work with our schedule...

I just came to check on you to see if you had that sweet baby yet. He will be here before you know it. I can't wait to see him. The monogrammed stuff looks precious and yes, the onsie will fit- it'll probably be too big!
